Since 2000, we've acquired valuable experience and a stellar field staff in 20 major markets across the country and have an arsenal of successful sampling campaigns behind our belts; working with some of the leading national natural brands. Whether it be in retail stores, at music festivals, on the ski mountain or on the streets--we reach targeted consumers through grassroots efforts, in a memorable way.
Our internal team is a collective of energetic and creative women, many of us moms, who have been doing event marketing for the better part of our professional careers. We are natural foodies, gardeners, passionately eco-minded, fiercely detail-oriented, and we absolutely love what we do! Our vision is to build awareness of natural product companies and their brands so that consumers can make sustainable and health conscious choices in the marketplace.
Kirstin brings over 16 years of event marketing & grassroots marketing experience in the Natural Products Industry. A graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara, Kirstin started her career managing the Santa Barbara Farmers' Market Association, coordinating 6 local markets a week, events and community outreach/education, and marketing for the organization. Kirstin later worked for the Balance Bar Company in its beginning stages and helped usher explosive growth there for over 4 years, managing a very aggressive event marketing campaign that included sponsorship of over 500 events annually . Primarily through event marketing and grassroots promotions, Balance Bar grew exponentially, and eventually sold to Kraft Foods. Kirstin worked for Kraft Foods for 1 year, and then went on to create her own company, Turn-Key Marketing and Promotions, in 2000, with hopes that she could provide grassroots growth tools to Natural Product Companies nationwide.
Angelina joined the Turn-Key Marketing team in 2007 after working for a Santa Barbara law firm where she handled marketing and event planning, working closely with the business, water law and environmental quality practice groups. After a few years in the legal field, Angelina was determined to turn towards her passion for organic food and green living. She graduated with a BA from the University of California Santa Barbara and received her MA in Organizational Management from Antioch University, where she focused her research on organizational sustainability. Angelina brings her event management expertise and field experience to each client's program along with meticulous organization and creative thinking. She thrives to make a positive impact for clients while serving as natural products ambassador at events all over the country. When she's not behind the desk or on the road, you'll find Angelina camping in the woods, at the beach, or in her garden enjoying the California sunshine.
Brigitte's career in event marketing started at the Balance Bar Company where she worked with Kirstin for numerous years. With 13+ years of project management & event coordination, she brings sharp energy and vitality to each program that she manages. Brigitte specializes in event execution, national sampling campaigns, and Costco Road Shows.
Jennifer has 15 years of experience in the natural health professions, including experience in the spa industry and coordinating large, health-oriented events. Growing up with a knowledge and passion for natural living led her to eventually graduate with an MS in Health Education in 2009. Jennifer's experience in administration and event management, along with her creative problem solving skills, lends to her ability to effectively coordinate and execute multiple projects. Her extensive educational background supports a clear understanding of the natural and healthy-living market.
Kristin started working events with Turn-Key Marketing in 2005. She has since managed a number of San Francisco Bay Area events as well as Costco Road Shows, Guerilla marketing campaigns, and in-store demo projects. Kristin is also passionate about the outdoors, and has 12+ years of experience teaching and organizing events for local cycling non-profits and climbing facilities. Kristin brings her dedicated coordinating skills along with energy and drive, to field and coordinate details for Turn-Key national events.
Joining the Turn-Key team in January 2010, Linda brings over 15 years of accounting experience to her position as Bookkeeper. Her goal is accurate, timely billings and payments. Linda is a native Oregonian and loves spending time at the beach. Her free time is spent quilting and reading. She enjoys learning about the world of natural products and loves testing the samples!
Because we exclusively represent natural product companies, we make sure our staff looks and lives the "natural foodie" lifestyle! We recruit from yoga studios, natural food stores, universities, massage schools, holistic centers, and other LOHAS locations so that we can best represent your brand! We have spent years building our field teams in the major markets across the country —some of whom we've been working with us for 5-10 years! We KNOW that every promotion is only as good as the person behind the table, so we take great pride in the enthusiastic and knowledgeable Brand Ambassador network. One thing that sets us apart from other marketing/demo companies is that our field staff are actual "employees" of our company, so we cover Workman's Compensation insurance (now required by most retailers), SS, medicare and all required payroll taxes.
